Proposed Schedule of Activities

An interesting schedule of activities has been developed. The "celebration" will be over 24 hours long starting on Wednesday May 6th. While it is by no means final, this schedule gives a good indication of what will be happening.

Wednesday 4pm to Thursday 12pm
20 hour design competition.
Open to all graduates and current students.
Details to be released later. Vital information will be revealed online at 4 pm.

Wednesday 6pm
Lecture - After CSA
Featuring the work of Taylor Architects (Mark Taylor M.Arch '95) and Cornerstone Design (Christopher Whyms-Stone M.Arch 97)

Thursday starting (before) Midday
Experiences in Purgatory
Seminar (and panel discussion) on the year out experience & preparing for Masters

The Fountainhead
Screening of the film adapted from Ayn Rand's famous book.

Caribbean School of Architecture Feature
Produced by a television station during a CSA Study tour.

Thursday 5:30
Opening ceremony for End of Year Exhibition 2008/9
featured will be an installation about CSA 1988/9 - 2008/9
and announcement of competition winners


The rest of time will be spent lyming, catching up as staff (past and present) and current students will certainly be at the school from midday.


These are just the activities that have a surety of occuring. Other activities have been suggested. If you have any suggestions please let us know (csayear20@gmail.com) so we could incorporate it. We are especially looking for stuff to do on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, as well as things others overseas could be involved in.
